Fiber construction is still in progress with underground construction being completed in Rice Lake and all the way to Fairchild. They have almost all the environmentally monitored areas completed by Beaver Creek Reserve and Wilson Tower. The organizational meeting of the Superior Community Area Network (CAN) was held yesterday. All member organizations have executed the Agreement of Association, and the registration is on its way to the Department of Financial Institutions. Antennas are going up in Eau Claire!!! Underground fiber construction in Spooner is complete except splicing and getting under the bridge on the ATV trail. A plow rig headed for Fairchild picked up their 2nd fiber roll of 20,000’ yesterday so they are over 4 miles in that direction. Rice Lake construction is at WITC [...]
