Using the internet to research, contact government

When it comes to communicating with the people they elected to represent them, less than 17% of the households in our demonstration communities say they use the Internet to contact government leaders.
Interestingly, less than half of the population in our state and nation (and demonstration communities) are currently using the Internet to research government issues.

I would have thought the number of people researching government issues on the internet would have been much higher. Quite surprised.
